Professional Development Plan

 

 

Rationale - The benefits of classroom web pages are varied.  One of its uses is to facilitate communication between the students, their parents, and myself.  Students or parents can contact me via a web page, and keep up with classroom guidelines and expectations.  Another way that the site will be used is as a resource for students and parents.  A web page allows students to find out information about their class including assigned projects, activities and nightly homework.  A teacher can provide links to informative websites addressing information that they are currently studying, rubrics, school calendars, and examples of quality student work. 

 

Goal - I will develop a professional development plan for myself that will enable me to acquire skills and tools to develop a comprehensive web page for my classroom.  I will design, construct, and maintain a classroom Web site.
